Hello,I’m Stella. I’m a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, accredited and registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I offer a warm and reflective space where you can speak freely and be met with respect, care, and understanding.
My approach is grounded in empathy and curiosity, shaped by a belief that therapy is most powerful when it honours the complexity of who we are. I see each person not as a set of problems to fix, but as someone with a unique story that deserves time and attention.
I offer a confidential and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My integrative approach draws from various therapeutic models, ensuring that therapy is tailored to your unique needs.I also work relationally, placing importance on meaningful therapeutic relationship as a foundation for personal growth and healing.
I engage in regular supervision in accordance with the UKCP Ethical Framework to maintain high standards of clinical practice. Any client information discussed in supervision is handled with confidentiality and respect.
Your information is not shared with anyone else, except in cases where I believe there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or if I am legally required to disclose information.
Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.
Relationship issues, anxiety, mood swings, or depression – many face challenges that can feel overwhelming. Counselling provides tools to better understand the root causes and helps you move towards managing or resolving them.
Together, we can explore the challenges you're facing, understand the underlying reasons for your reactions, and identify ways to make healthier, more positive choices moving forward.
I hold an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Warwick. I currently offer private therapy and also work as a university counsellor.
I have experience working with clients from a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds, supporting them through emotional difficulties, relationship issues, identity exploration, and life transitions.
Having undergone over 10 years of personal psychoanalytical therapy, I deeply understand the courage it takes to engage in therapy and the profound transformation it can bring.
My personal experience informs my compassionate and empathetic approach, allowing me to hold a safe, reflective, and non-judgmental space for you.
I offer therapy in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese, ensuring that language is not a barrier to meaningful connection and support.
